An Equitable Transition
Community Upliftment
50% of the funds raised by ‘1% for SA’ are used to pay for RegenCAN community upliftment projects. This includes the development of new infrastructure, maintenance and repairs to existing infrastructure, and other actions that benefit communities.
Rescue Earth System
Regenerative Restoration
50% of the funds raised by ‘1% for SA’ are used to pay for RegenCAN ecosystem restoration projects. The funds are predominantly used for projects working on the 20+ Regenerative Restoration Initiatives of the Rescue Earth System.
